MyGoldFolio is a smart gold tracker for Android. Your data stays on your device — always.

Data Collected

MyGoldFolio does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers.

All information you enter — holdings, purchase dates, costs, and notes — is stored exclusively on your device. It never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it yourself.

Price Data

To display live gold prices, the app makes requests to third-party price APIs. These requests contain no personal information — only a price query for gold in EUR. Please refer to each provider's own privacy policy for their data practices.

Notifications

The app can send local notifications for price alerts, tax-free dates, and milestones. These are generated entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.

Backups & Exports

JSON backups and CSV exports are saved directly to your device storage. The developer has no access to these files.

Diagnostics

Any crash logs are stored on-device only and are visible to you via the App Info screen. Nothing is transmitted automatically.

Children

This app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL with a revised effective date.
